Our holistic and personalised approach allows children who struggle in mainstream school settings to reach their potential. We’re here to ensure that every child in Worcestershire has equal opportunities for academic achievement and personal growth.
Alternative provision
Who we help
Every young person deserves equal access to education and support, regardless of their background or the challenges they face.
With a deep passion for making a positive difference, our dedicated team of educators offers a holistic approach to learning. We work with local authorities, schools and academies, and families to provide bespoke alternative education support to:
- Permanent or temporary exclusions
- Children struggling with mental health or medical issues
- Children with social anxiety or low self-esteem
- Looked after children
- SEND/EHCP
We work alongside the multi-agency framework to ensure all children are safeguarded and remove any barriers to learning and education. Please get in touch to find out more and make a referral.
Benefits of alternative provision
Why choose us?
We provide tailored education pathways, vital pastoral care and essential mentoring services to young individuals who are unable to access traditional educational settings. Our creative alternative education solutions offer many benefits, including:
Customised support and guidance to address each child’s unique needs, strengths and challenges.
Targeted services and resources support students with specific learning needs, disabilities or social-emotional difficulties. Our highly skilled, qualified teachers are trained to manage specific learning and SEMH (social/emotional/mental health) needs.
A flexible environment allows smaller classes and tailored teaching methods to meet individual learning styles. Our teacher-to-student ratios range from one-to-one to a maximum of one-to-four, allowing for smaller group sizes and more focused support.
A nurturing and inclusive atmosphere promotes positive relationships, emotional wellbeing and self-confidence.
Tailored pathways and support help children who struggle in mainstream education to re-engage in learning. Teaching is adapted to mee the learning styles and needs of students. We focus on building self-esteem and self-worth as the foundation for improving engagement.
An emphasis on holistic development focuses on academic progress while addressing personal, social and emotional growth.
Targeted interventions and specialised teaching strategies ensure each child receives the support they need to thrive academically and personally.
We equip children with the qualifications and life skills they need to pursue their desired pathways and succeed in their chosen fields.
Where we work
Our centre
Our education centre in Droitwich Spa offers alternative provision placements for learners with additional needs, from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. It provides a modern, welcoming, well-equipped learning space with lots of engaging and creative activities.
Our centre has a range of facilities, from informal areas which allow children to make friends and build confidence in a social environment, to more formal spaces which encourage children to focus on their learning.
We don’t do grey, stuffy and boring. We strive to create an open, inclusive and nurturing environment that helps our children be the best they can be.
Our learners
Don’t just take our word for it…
The children we work with are at the heart of everything we do, and we love to see them thrive.

“I feel comfortable talking to the staff. Adults are always friendly and supportive. I like being praised. I’m proud of my progress in maths.”
